aslange Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 Hi everyone,I'm new here but I use the µTorrent for a long time.I never knew how to pronounce it, so how is the correct pronunce of µTorrent?microTorrent or müTorrent?µ on the Greek alphabet is Mü (pronunce Mi)µ is used too in the SI like a prefix (Ex.: µA - microAmpere), but I do not know if it is used only in SI and not used for words.Then I'm in doubt...Thank You! Ultima Posted February 23, 2010 Report Share Posted February 23, 2010 Most people I've talked to call it you-torrent. ludde himself preferred to call it that way as well, but well, honestly, I don't think it really matters one way or another There is no "official" pronunciation; the µ certainly stands for "micro", but meaning isn't necessarily carried over into pronunciation.
