urbanriot
Recently made a switch to uTorrent to test it out again after waffles/what enforced its use and I'm having an issue uploading at the same speeds as I'm obtaining through Azureus. I've forwarded the port on my router to correct nic on this system, bound the correct IP in utorrent, and I'm not running any software 'firewall' or packet filtering; yet I'm receiving the yellow triangle which states, "No incoming connections. Unless the icon turns green, it could indicate a problem with your network configuration."With the same torrents communicating to the same trackers - If I exit uTorrent and load Azureus, wait an hour, I peak at my bandwidth upload limit. If I exit Azureus and load uTorrent, wait an hour, the fastest I'm peaking is 6.1 kB/s as a whole. Any suggestions our troubleshooting advice would be appreciated, thanks! Switeck
1st and 2nd links in my signature. If you don't get unfirewalled in uTorrent, speeds likely will suffer badly.
urbanriot
As per my previous post I'm not utilizing a software 'firewall.' Thanks for the links... I was reading through them and considering the implementation of some suggestions relating to some advanced uTorrent settings when the icon disappeared completely on its own and was shortly replaced with a green checkmark. My speeds are still poor with uTorrent so I'm going to explore what some of the suggestions on your links refer to, and whether or not they apply to me (as a couple on that list would be adverse for almost everyone). The problem is most definitely within uTorrent so perhaps something on your list has a solution. If anyone else has any direct suggestions or advice, I'd be pleased to hear it. Firon
Did you configure it according to the Speed Guide?
Switeck
A firewall can also be in a modem, router, or even a 'lite' software firewall in antivirus programs...which most people don't consider.UPnP or NAT-PMP may be able to auto-forward your router to get around its firewall.
