Lyniaer
When a download completes and I am seeding, I notice that, on a continual basis (never stops) that I'll still be downloading at a rate of >1Kb/s and <0.1Kb/s. The download is already finished; what does this anomaly pertain to? Is it feedback from other clients requesting a connection and what I'm seeing is pertinent packet data being received before I can upload?I'm using BitTorrent 6.4 on a Windows 7 system. Lyniaer
Oh, I see. I have to pour through the entire FAQ by hand instead of someone providing me a direct answer. What's the point in having the forums? Can someone else answer my question besides DreadWingKnight?
DreadWingKnight
http://www.utorrent.com/faq/troubleshooting#faq4The point in having the forums is for the obscure questions, not the so common it's painful questions.
Lyniaer
Must be tough on you... I'll stay out of the forums and do my part to protect you from redundancy. Also, don't ever apply for a tech support job.Out.
Firon
You're supposed to RTFM before going to ask questions.
DreadWingKnight
I used to work for microsoft windows XP support. It still annoyed me then when the stuff was so heavily documented and the users STILL got it wrong.
Switeck
Someone else asked the same thing more or less just in the last couple hours. It's a regularly asked question, so it's answered in the FAQ ...and probably other parts of documentation as well.Really, if you don't know the basics of BitTorrent it might help to read the FAQ anyway.
