"files missing from job" on every restart.

Hello!

Pretty much every time I restart or shutdown/start my PC, most torrents show the "files missing from job, please recheck" error. Yet they work again if I just click "resume". I've tried rechecking it with no results. I've also noticed that if I restart my pc just by pushing the reset button, the torrents don't get the error nearly as much.

This happens with the latest version of uTorrent, and has happened with previous ones aswell. I have Win7.

Thanks!

How do I fix a drive letter? In the computer manage thing, both drives are set to one particular letter.

Also, the files always show that they are 90-99% "downloaded" and not all files are always affected, while all of them are stored on the external drives.

Here's a pic http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/9430/screenhunter48.jpg

Is there a way to make Windows mount the drives first, or make uTorrent start after drives?

  • 6 months later...

Sorry to revive an old thread but suddenly I'm getting this too.

I'm not using an external drive for my torrents.

My .torrent files are downloaded in %UserDir%\Downloads (which is D:) and my files are on E:\Downloads and then moved to E:\Downloads\done\UnPack\ when finished.

Build 21882
