mofe
i'm having the same problems. I've read all the other posts and googled it as well. Seems to be an old problem with no clear solution. This is what I've done:-uninstalled and reinsalled both utorrent and bittorrent-done a system restore (all restore points prior to when the problem started with utorrent are gone)-cleared cache and tried different browsers (IE, safari, firefox ) and done the associated suggestions None of these work so far. I'm using windows.

twentyfour
Could you be downloading the torrent file from an index site but the torrent file belongs to a site you have to register to get the passkey. It happened to me a while ago and had same error message.
