First timer and seeding

Hi there,

This is my first time ever posting on these boards. I must therefore apologize If what I'm about to ask has been asked a thousand times before.

I haven't used Utorrent for that long nor am I a very computer savy person. My question pertains to deleting a torrent for space purposes. When is it appropriate to do so? What is the proper seeding ratio. I'm unaware of the sharing etiquette. Right now , I stop seeding a peticular torrent whenever I reach a ratio of 4. My current transfer cap reads for the past 30 days:27.7GB downloaded and 125.3 GB uploaded. Is that enough ?

Any ratio above 1.0 is considered good. Thanks for trying to be (and for being) an upstanding BitTorrent peer!
