Navigator23
Win 2000 - Update µTorrent 1.4 -> 2.0 - bluescreen after 5 secondsHello everyone =),first, I searched via google and board search, but I couldn't find a straight answer, so I hope someone can help me:- fix the problem- find a walk aroundI used µtorrent 1.4 for quite a while without having any problems at all. I was recomended to update once to µtorrent 1.5, I have had the same problem, like now. So I just downdated µt1.4 again. I wanted to update µtorrent yesterday so I did it finally from the web-site to version 2.0. After I start µtorrent now, I get a bluescreen after 5 seconds with the information:error tcpip.sysI use for uTorrent an old PC- Windows 2000 Professional- No Firewall- No AntivirI didn't change anything else in my system than µtorrent. Is there a solution for this problem? I know there are some topics concerning this problem, but without a straight answer or help. I could use a tutorial. I just want it back up and runningtcpip.sys - http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=10872win2k bluescreen - http://www.utorrent.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7519- http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=9065

DreadWingKnight
Actually, one of the possible causes could be traced to either your network card drivers or your internet security software. What network card are you using to get online? What internet security software do you have installed? Navigator23
thanks a lot well here the infos:- network card: Realtek RTL8139(A) PCI-Fast Ethernet-Adapter- The DL System doesn't have an internet security software. It's just to download safe content and transfer it to a safe system. So from v1.4 -> v2.0 there is a more advanced use of my network card oO, so that it comes to this error? Firon
Probably. See if there's a driver update from Realtek.
Navigator23
thx a lot!!!It seems to be definetly the drivers! Since I updated the drivers, everything just fine! You guys are just gorgeous! The machine is running smoth and constants since 2 hours =)great help. Thanks for your suggestions.I think it should probably be crosslinked in the FAQ that the first thing 2 do by the tcpip.sys is to update the network drivers.May the fun and wealth be with you =)________________________________!!!!
