NuQ
I'm upgrading to windows 7 soon and would like to migrate my torrents i'm currently seeding. Unfortunately i did not have the foresight to save the original .torrent files when i initiated the downloads, so the only record i have of them is in the client itself. I Read the migration FAQ, But i'm still a little confused. is it possible to generate the .torrent files from completed downloads?Edit: I'm not afraid of doing monotonous work, i just want to be sure i'm going about it in the right way before i begin. a friend suggested i just create a new torrent from within utorrent, copy all the tracker info and point to the same files. will that work? or is there an easier way of doing this?Sorry if this is a total noob question... I'm lost.
DreadWingKnight
You're FAR better off just trying to find the .torrent files on the sites you got them from originally. There are far too many quirks to deal with that could end up generating your torrents wrong.
