nasir10 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 hi,im nasir from bangladesh.im using qubee wimax.they gave a giaset sx682 wimax modem.after having that i cannot download anything using torrent.some torrent does work but very slow transfer rate.i went to the site www.portforward.com and they have no settings for my model.but glasnost says im ok with my isp.what to do?? Switeck Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 wimax, like most wireless services, probably gives out only LAN ips to customers...you are likely permanently, hopelessly firewalled as a result of it.uTP and Teredo/IPv6 can partially get around that to get you some incoming connections...Do try to download OpenOffice and see how fast it goes.
