winningbidder111
Hello all,I have a fios internet connection that constantly tests at 32d/32u from speedtest speekeasy viosspeedtest multiple times but on average I only get 700Kbs download speed, one time it reached 1.2mbs but it usually has around 2mbs upload no matter which torrent. So of course I want to know if there is a way to make it go faster or if I actually am going as fast as possible probably and its not my limitation but the limitation of the peers I'm trying to download from.I tried this guide "http://www.bootstrike.com/Articles/BitTorrentGuide/ " including half open connections beyond this i didn't tinker really at all except changing upload levels to every level possible on the drop down to see if it helped, it did not and changing "bt.Transp.Disposition" value to 255 (saw it in one other guide hence why i tried it), I am running the newest utorrent possible, just updated yesterday.Any help or tips you could give are greatly appreciated.Thank you,Sean
DreadWingKnight
I can't endorse ANYTHING in that guide you tried in regards to modifying advanced settings.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992
winningbidder111
Yeah I tried that guide also a while ago without a change from the usual 700Kbs down and 1.2-3mbs upload speeds on average.
