xtremegamer
Hi all, I'm new to this forum..... My Broadband connections is 2mbps From BSNL, anyway i'm from india, on 2mbps i have got maximum speed of 230-250kbps via Internet Download Manager.., But in utorrent i'm not getting on high, getting only below 180kbps, but it's not constant at all , it's fluctuating, like 180, 170,150, 130, 90 , the going to high 140,170,180 same process is repeating... I will be mostly downloading movies from private sites with good seeeders, don't know what's the problem , checked with utorrent version 2.0, 2.1 alpha and i think 1.8.5 is some times stable..... Telephone line is clear... I have done portforwarding via my Utstar Modem Via Naz - DMZ host, and the port was open, i think it increased some 10kb-20kbps download speed, but i have got some virus attack when portforwarded even with my Internet Security Kaspersky 2010 is protected, Last time i got some virus named Virus Worm P2P. Win32.Palevo like that, Kaspersky deleted it, from now onwards i disabled port forwarding... plz helpme what are the settings for my 2mbps Connection , i mean upload Speed, Download speed, slots, etc...... Plz anyone....
Switeck
uTorrent is configured based on sustainable UPLOAD speed max, which may be far lower than 2 mbit/sec. Until we know that amount, we cannot be certain what settings should work for you.
PiusX
Take a note that is the theoretical ISP speed not the actually speed you get. You will never get that speed regardless of what they say. There is never a perfect line condition where you will get what they say you have. Only way that will happen is with Fiber but that is a expensive upgrade for many ISP providers for the time being.
