Angelico
Ok, so I have noticed that Comodo blocks certain UDP requests from Windows Operating System "applications" on port 20000 to my router IP. Since that is the way I root my utorrent traffic (port 20000), and since I defined utorrent as an trusted app, meaning it can connect and receive freely from UDP, TCP port ranges.I was wondering do I need to permit these kind of connection too, and if they are related to actual downloading? Here's is a pic :
Switeck
uTorrent v1.8.x and later uses uTP peers/seeds which use UDP packets.Incidentally, Teredo/IPv6 also uses UDP packets. So yes, UDP needs to be allowed both incoming and outgoing for uTorrent. Angelico
UDP and TCP is allowed for utorrent I was wondering if I should allow incoming requests on port 20000 for Windows Operating System on UDP?
Switeck
If you don't, you won't be able to get uTP incoming peer/seed connections!
