Nakkis Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 Ok, as you can see from the title, I'm getting big memory leaks with the new betas (>1.4 stable). µTorrent is hugging up to 800mb of my ram after few hours of uptime, and that really kills my pc. With 1.4 stable I can leave the pc on for days with no problems. My firewall: Kerio Personal FirewallAV: Avast! antivirusAny ideas? Anyone else getting similar problems? Ultima Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 I'm not sure why it'd start happening in the new betas, but those two security softwares are listed as incompatible, so I'm not all that surprised that there's some problems. Try uninstalling both of them (not just disable), enable Windows Firewall and add µTorrent to the exceptions list (there's an option in µTorrent to do that for you). Just to be safe, don't visit sites or download things unfamiliar to you while your antivirus is uninstalled. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
