DesertSpider Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 I have just updated to uT 2.0 and have set my directory locations for my torrents. However, the list in my torrent window shows all files as: (!) stopped torrents. When I try to restart them (all seeds at this point, no active downloads) - I get an error for each one saying: "Files missing from job. Please recheck."I don't understand why the program can't find my torrent files or the seed files....Any help is greatly appreciated.DSAlso, I have not downloaded or started any new torrents since the update.Update:Played around and re-remembered how to associate the individual torrents (right click each one -> advanced -> set download location)....However, now my problem is that I selected the generic folder where all torrent folders are and not individual named file folders.... (I had more than 250 in the window seeding out).Which created the new problem when I restarted each torrent in the torrent list, it created a new instance of the download (I already have the dL and files) only now the new copy is at the top level in the generic master folder (not within the individual torrent file folders).Hmm.
george_lol Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 setting file locations - i just switched to ut 2.0/18620 from vuze. i left most options vanilla as they came except for trying to specify where my completed downloads should go. i specified a specific location on my computer for the 2nd file location parameter "Move Completed Downloads to:" yet none for my files (not torrents (g-d only knows where they are) have wound up there. i would also like to keep a copy of the original torrents on my data disks, not system disks. i do not like to keep any king of user data on my operating system drive. maybe also someone can explain the fifference betweek the 1st & 2nd locations?Windows 7
Firon Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Only new downloads will be moved to that folder. It is not retroactive to old content.
