crysis2 Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 Hi All! First of all congratulations for the size of uTorrent: just 1 single file in 313Kb, a real masterpiece! Sorry if the following bugs have already been reported, im just new here.. Version 2 build 18488, on Windoxs XP (different builds and SPs), lets go:1) FOR USB KEY: by now if I want to add a torrent located in "E:\uTorrent\FILEX.iso.torrent", I have to write the whole absolute path.BUT here the problem comes: when I unplug the usb key, and plug it in another PC with drive letter mapped as "D:" or "F:" or even the same letter (but just different PC), I receive a nice "Error: invalid download state, try resuming" .. is that a bug??2) the options "Close to Tray" and "Minimize to Tray" sometimes dont work.. that icon doesnt really want to appear in that Tray, and that happens randomly.. is it a uTorrent bug or Windows bug???3) "Setup Guide-> test Bandwidth": it just doesnt work when using a local HTTP tunnelling server program..Greetings
GTHK Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 For the USB key problem, relative pathing failed pretty badly and has been disabled afaik, except in some silly version you can buy on Amazon. You could use the BEncode Editor on this forum though to tweak the drive letters for torrents in the resume.dat file, that would have to be done each time the drive letter changes.
crysis2 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Report Posted March 16, 2010 hi I cant understand what you mean.. why did you disable relative pathing?I believe it is "silly", as you say, for who is sitting at home, with a cup of coffe in front, cigarette, slippers and pijama ..but for who is jumping all day long from pentiums 4 dual core XP to a pentiums 1 windows 2000, asus, Hp, bell, and so on its not so "silly" problem..
