Ultima
When you download anything in Firefox, it adds a .part extension to the end of the file until it completes. Rename the file by removing the extension and then you can continue with µTorrent.

Ultima
If you have Nero, I don't see why you shouldn't use it. What 1c3d0g meant when he said to burn it as an image is that you burn the ISO contents onto disc, not the ISO itself onto a data disc.Edit: I've never used it, but there's a program called ImgBurn... try it if you want, in case you get any more confused ;P
hofshi
Nero burns ISO files without any problems as well, so you have a free choice.
1c3d0g
Ultima: that's exactly what I use. A very, very nice CD/DVD burning program, IMHO. rcnitrous7: If you're going to use ImgBurn, this is the correct way to burn the image. It can't get any easier than this. Druidor
Knoppix is the king of the live cds.there are so many versions of Linux about but I prefer Debian based with a KDE front end e.g. Kubuntu (the KDE version of Ubuntu)Will be looking at some other distros soon though just to see what they are like.Good resources I have found are http://www.linuxquestions.org/http://www.linuxdevcenter.com/http://www.linuxforums.org/http://distrowatch.com/

Alpha-Toxic
Check those out Elive (www.elivecd.org) - eyecandy to the max, very impresivePSLinuxOS (www.pclinuxos.com) - easy for the n00bs, propreatery codecs out of the box, debian based = easy sofware instalationKororaa (kororaa.org) - XGL!!! This is the ultimate eyecandy stuff, 3D powered desktop, LiveCD with ATi and nVidia drivers included, makes even Vista look sooo medieval....(K)Ubuntu (www.ubuntu.com) - great support on the forums, the most popular distro out there at the moment (I'm using this currently), although i'd suggest waiting about 2 months for the next release. It promises to be VERY stable amd amture.
