keropi_666 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Hiya!!Is there an option to clean-up the download directory of a torrent, and leave ONLY the files in the .torrent while deleting automatically files that are irrelevant? I merged 2 dirs and only about half files are needed now , so how to remove the extra ones? there are a lot of files or I would do it manually. Thanks!
sathish_utorrent Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Yes, there is an implicit method.1.Empty your 'Recycle Bin'.2.Open up your client and choose your .torrent from list and right click->Remove And->Delete Data.3.Copy the rest of the files from the directory to any other location.4.Restore your Recycle Bin.Now you get your files segregated. Note:I recommend you empty your Recycle Bin so as to avoid the confusion with other files(if already present).
keropi_666 Posted March 18, 2010 Author Report Posted March 18, 2010 thanks! that is a nice trick!!!I have chosen to move the torrent files to another location after finishing , I think this will also do the trick, else it is the "recycle bin" workaround
Lord Alderaan Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 I wrote a vbs script to do this a while back. No guarantees:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=40516
