i have downloaded files to a portable drive and disconnected it

bow i can't remember the drive letter i used

and the utorrent doesn't recognize the torrents

is there a way for the utorrent to show me the path it seeks for the torrents

Go to General tab, you have the full path so you can retrieve the previous drive letter and change it in the Disk Management of Windows.

the portable drive was not my default download location

so it's location is not in the general tab

That doesn't matter if the removable drive is not your default torrent download folder.

Select the torrent job presenting this error and go to General tab. There is a line called 'Save as', then you will see the old drive letter.

If that doesn't match, open resume.dat with BEncode Editor (http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306) and find the line corresponding to your torrent job.

1.Remove your torrent from list: Right click on the required torrent->Remove

2.Now, reopen your torrent file.

3.When the client asks for download location, select the partially downloaded location in your hard disk.

4.Now, the client automatically checks the file pieces and resumes download.
