Joogla Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 hi,I would much like if utorrent had a 256x256 file icon, tightly (really tightly) compressed into the Utorrent.exe for my Windows 7.I have all my icons zoomed up close and my other apps Firefox, Paint.Net, VLC have a 256x256 hi-res iconCould utorrent get one too? Ultima Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 a 256x256 file icon, tightly (really tightly) compressedNo matter how tightly you pack a 256x256 icon, it's still going to be ridiculously enormous relative to the rest of the executable -- unless it lacks any real detail. It's a complete and utter waste of resources to include such a large icon in the executable. If you need one, find one here. Just know that it isn't going to be built into the default executable, so you're going to have to use it with a shortcut, or ResHack the executable to include the new icon (proper behavior in µTorrent not guaranteed if you take this route).
