Bellzemos
Hello!I usually download a .torrent file to my HDD and then click on it to start uTorrent and download that torrent. May I then delete that .torrent file or should I wait until all the data is downloaded and then delete the .torrent file?Thank you!
moogly
You can delete it as you want because µT doesn't work with it. A working copy has been stored in folder %appdata%\utorrent by default.
Bellzemos
There's no .torrent files in my "C:\Documents and Settings\*****\Application Data\uTorrent" folder, because I saved the .torrent file via "Save as" command in a specific folder before running it. So, may I delete that .torrent files or should I wait until they are completely downloaded?
moogly
.torrents are saved by default in %appdata%\utorrent or in the folder you have set in Preferences > Directories. In both cases, you don't have to delete the .torrent files stored in one of these folders. But the .torrent you downloaded from internet can be deleted. Bellzemos
Oh, yes, now it see. I've set an other directory for .torrent files to be stored in and I can delete my saved .torrent files, as you said. Thank you for clearing that up!
