Utorrent 2.0 is impossible to use! Hangs all the time

Hi,

Utorrent keeps hanging. I have 15000 torrents added but they are all STOPPED! I only start 1000-2000 torrents each time, but only 5-10 have peers leeching!

Even if I leave utorrent running doing nothing it takes almost 500MB of my RAM, I only have 1GB

I have tried the 2.0 stable, 2.01 beta and 2.1 alpha. They all show lots of "hung" "unhung" messages. Suddenly the Utorrent window stops responding and I have to stop the Utorrent.exe process to restart it. Right now it's impossible to use!

Windows XP SP2

All drivers update and no other problems

I closed all running software, no anti-virus running. No conflict.

Sorry but slow speed really has nothing to do with my problem

Even with ALL torrents stopped utorrent is using 450MB! If I run another utorrent with 100-200 *ACTIVE* torrents it runs and seeds fine.

Why does utorrent take ram with STOPPED torrents? I don't understand, can't it handle it?

Did it hang with so many torrents loaded using older versions?
