eemmfa Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 I'm using Firefox 3.6 (just updated) on Windows Vista laptop.When I click on "Download now" -- to download uTorrent, I am not given the "Run" option so that I can install the program. I am only given "Save File" and "Cancel".When I click Save File, the download cancels itself and fails. I have downloaded uTorrent on another computer using the same browser and OS and did not have this problem. I have completely reset the download settings for Firefox using about:config and I have no restrictions on downloads under Options. I am thinking that there is an issue with the PC itself rather than the browser. I also do not have any firewalls or anti-virus programs installed.If you know anything that would help, let me know.
