pk7677 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I don't quite remember all the settings for utorrent when your ISP throttles, all I remember is Protocol Encryption Outgoing to "Forced". Do I need to check Allow incoming legacy connections? And is there something else to make my utorrent go faster? I haven't torrent anything in a long time until some one told me utorrent 2.0 came out, hopefully this will fix my throttle problem.Edited: Is it normal that my speed decrease from 600kb/s to 500 to 50s in a period of 10~15min? From what I can tell the speed doesn't recover.
Switeck Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I explain a bit about ISP throttling and possible workarounds you can try here:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58714WARNING: Those settings were a special case for a wireless ISP!Using such restrictive settings can easily be WORSE than you already have, so you have to test to see what works best.
