noahs
The last time I used uTorrent was a few days ago and I got a 'Network OK' message. In fact, I've been using it for months and never had a port problem, all of my port are forwarded properly.Today, for the first time, the 'Network OK' message didn't appear, so I used the Port Checker and it said there was an error, my port was closed. I checked everything out and nothing had been changed. I restarted uTorrent and a 'NAT Error' message appeared.Has anyone else experienced this, and how can I remedy it?Thanks in advance.- NS

noahs
Okay, why would it have changed, and how would I find that out? Also, would I then just need to change that in my router?Nevermind, sorry. My router apparently did some bizarre things when the power went yesterday, somehow it switched the addresses of all of our computers. Please use edit instead of double posting. StoicJester
if you're using windows, go to your router and check what ip address your ports are forwarded to. then click start > run, then type cmd and enter. in this command box, type ipconfig and press enter. it will show you what your local ip is. if it's different than the ip your ports are forwarded to, that's your problem.
