jfromeo
Hello fellows.Let's say I leave 10 torrents uploading during some hours, and the tracker I'm member has an announce time of 30 mins (each 30 mins uTorrent sends the updated stats from the last announce to the tracker for each torrent). So, after 25 mins of resuming my torrents to seed, If I have to reboot my PC/router and I stop the torrents and close uTorrent, how is the uploaded amount during those 25 mins sent to the tracker? Next time I launch uTorrent (with a working connection, that is)? Or is it lost? Thanks in advance.
Switeck
The ratio changes are not lost, unless a close of utorrent is forced externally.Graceful shutdowns include a stop message sent to the tracker along with ratio changes.
jfromeo
Thanks Switeck. So that means that, unless I "kill" the process from the task manager (or an equivalent program), the client will be still sending the data uploded up to then right? That's nice news. I thought I'd lose all the data uploaded from reboots/closing uTorrent.
