Webseed gets banned

Hi,

when I insert this link as webseed it downloads 1MB and gets banned after that:

http://dl13-mg-hq3.lastverteiler.net/309e255beccb5245e2e4f3ae56f8c812/Ben_Hur_10.04.02_15-35_zdf_205_TVOON_DE.mpg.HQ.avi.otrkey (it`s an encrypted file by otr).

1. Why does this happen?

and

2. What can I do?

I contacted the webmaster of that page and he said, that the link is ok for torrent programmes. So where´s the matter?

Hash fails on General tab? Turn on some logging by right-clicking inside the logger tab and try getting some useful info. It's possible the server is sending corrupt data (or getting corrupted on the way), or data different to the torrent you have.

if its a multi file torrent, I'd bet its because the structure on the host is not the same. It needs to match EXACTLY what the creator's structure was, so....

creator wants to seed a.txt, b.txt and c.txt in "c:/seed/my_new_seed/". on the host, you would need to have the same structure... http://myhost.com/webseeds/my_new_seed/\" and have a.txt, b.txt, and c.txt.

i had this problem when i first started web seeding, and it took me a few hours to get right.

i'd check with your host to confirm that the "root-seed" directory is the same that is listed in the torrent.

hope you get it resolved - if you still have issues, turn on all the peer traffic logging options in the logger tab and post results here.
