markcl
I accidentally shift deleted 20GB of torrent data because utorrent did not warn me, ironically it warns me before deleting when I just delete normally.Maybe utorrent should give warnings in the future if one uses shift+delete to avoid such accidents. Silass
This is a windows feature as well, if you find any folder/file in your file system and shift delete you will not get a warning message, else if you use delete alone you will get the warning... I don't see why uTorrent will change this as this is normal and not considered a bug...
Ultima
Er, I'm not sure what either of you are talking about, really... Windows does warn you about deletion when you Shift+Delete -- it says that it's removing the files permanently, bypassing the Recycle Bin. But µTorrent does exactly the same thing -- it warns you, telling you that it's removing the torrent and all associated files. I'm staring right at the warnings in both cases right now.
