Utorrent / Bittorent problem!! NEED HELP!

Hello guys!

I have a problem with my utorrent and bittorent. When i have downloaded for 1-2 minutes the hole computer just freezes. I cant do nothing , my only choice is just to cut the power. I have tried to install new antivirus programs and updated to the last version. But nothing helps!!!!

I really need help with this issue. Please reply!

No suspect DLL injected into µT, anyway Panda Security is installed as your security software. And can have some issues when it handles the p2p traffic.

Can you disable (and uninstall) it temporarily to see if the issue continues.

Okey thanks! I have tried to disable panda for the moment when i downloading but it still freezes. I should probably remove Panda as my security software. Do you have any advices for good free security software?

Well, i've tried AVG free edition and i still have the same problem. It kinda pisses me out . I give you some information about my computer if it maybe gives some help: Pentium Dual Core CPU, 2.80 GHz, 2GB RAM

Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS.

Can you add screenshots of the bandwidth settings please? Did you try to limit the UL/DL rates?

Maybe there is an issue with your network card and its driver.

I have also tried to max UL/DL and then it got better but the issue is still there!

I checked at the eventwhr logg and before it freezes the network card goes from "run" to "stopped". I think that's like a detonator to the freeze.

Yep, your network card doesn't like p2p traffic, maybe at high rates or UDP traffic.

I'm not good with computer freezing issues. Requires going through HijackThis! and Process Explorer logs at a level that takes hours or days.

So you still had trouble even with Panda completely (but only temporarily) uninstalled?

The speed test results...were those sustained speeds or just short-term bursts?

I have the problem with all antivirus programs. No program does it better! On the speed results i got like 12mb/s on the next try so i think it was just short term bursts.

I meant testing with antivirus program uninstalled and only using Windows firewall and your router (if you have one).

What's sustained upload speed max for your line?

I have tested to disable all antivirus programs but it doesent work. I have a router but it doesent work with just firewall and router. UL = 12.42 Mbit/s ( 1.4MB/s DL= 35.36Mbit/s (4.2MB/s)

I have also tried to open some ports in the router and it got better, i can download for a longer time now. But then it freezes

Disabling Anti-Virus/firewalls might not be enough to remove its influence (damn Kaspersky for one), you need to uninstall it completely to be sure.

I KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!!! If i download in like 5mb/s and higher it freezes, but if i download in like 2,5mb/s it dont freeze. How can i do to fix that?
