Mechcondrid Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 hey i keep getting various upnp errors in utorrent is there a way to tell it what port to send the upnp request to as i noticed it keeps sending it to the wrong port on the router (1780) apposed to the correct upnp port (5000)
Switeck Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 Remapping a port that was manually forwarded maybe?Better to use a higher port if you can...in some versions of windows (XP and earlier) ports 1000-5000 (roughly) are used as outgoing ephemeral ports.
Mechcondrid Posted April 12, 2010 Author Report Posted April 12, 2010 I think you misunderstood the ports I listed are upnp hosts on the router I can't change those
Switeck Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Far as I know, uTorrent can only disable/enable UPnP and NAT-PMP support.I have mine disabled because I did manual port forwarding on my router.
