tuki2pori
Hi to all at uTorrent !! I have downloaded the free version of "uTorrent 2.0" and could successfully download an uncopyrighted clipping !! Great !! I am interested to learn whether the bittorennt traffic that I would be downloading with uTorrent 2.0 is encrypted ?? If so, is it header-encrypted (i.e. the header information is encrypted) or body-encrypted (i.e. the data portion is encrypted) ??If the bittorrent traffic through uTorrent is NOT encrypted right now, does uTorrent has plans to launch an encryption-enabled version in near future ??Best wishes and regards to all ..... ** tuki2pori **(Apr 14, 2010)
moogly
Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent_protocol_encryptionAnd use a VPN if you want a better level of encryption.
Switeck
I explain a bit about ISP throttling and possible workarounds you can try here:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58714WARNING: Those settings were a special case for a wireless ISP!Using such restrictive settings can easily be WORSE than you already have, so you have to test to see what works best.
