Grendel
I have a 1GB flash drive I like to take to school with me, the school has a much faster connection than my house. I would like to be able to move the parts of the files I downloaded off that drive onto my hdd and start over again the next day. I would hope that since all the pieces are numbered this might be possible. Is it?
Firon
You can do it with any client, just move all the files, then point the torrent to that location.
trinop
if i'm not mistaken you can move all the dat files from Application Data\uTorrent into the same directory as µTorrent and the installation becomes portable, so you could just run it off the flash drive and everything would automatically be there.if you only want to run it at the location you are, this would be ideal. if you want it running simultaneously at both home and school, then it would get a little more complicatedof course it would help if the drive had the same letter at both places so µTorrent would know where to look . . . Firon
The only thing that happens is that the drive letter might change. But that's easily fixable. Right click the torrent -> Set download location, and tell it the new drive letter. Problem solved.
