Utorrent Freezing

Utorrent freezes around 30 second after I open it. Once killed it takes a few minutes for the process to actually close. The window disappears but the process remains. I've tried uninstalling it and deleting the folder for it in the AppData folder. I'm not sure what other information would be helpful but I would appreciate anything you can tell me.

Utorrent isnt leaving a crash log

Also I thought I should note that after about 20 minutes of leaving Utorrent open, it will unfreeze and be ok from that point on. I just found this out when trying to get these logs.

It's injected into µT but I don't think it's the culprit. Anyway you can try to disable it and check if µT continues to freeze.

Is µT freezing when you start it?

Tried unloading DisplayFusion and Utorrent still froze. It freezes for about 20 minutes as soon as you open it.

Ok, DisplayFusion wasn't the culprit, that was I thought.

I saw many freezes of µT on Win 7 and not really a definitive response. :/

Anyway the main issue can be the network card/adapter and its driver not optimized for Win 7.

Is there some sort of tool that I can download that will completely remove Utorrent and ALL of it's settings?

I've found the problem if anyone else is having this problem. I went in and changed some of the settings. The settings that I changed that fixed the problem was under Connection. I unchecked "Enable UPnP port mapping", "Enable NAT-PMP port mapping" and "Add Windows Firewall exception" and immediately things started working better.

Disabling UPnP + IPv6 'fixes' the problem, though we're talking to MS right now to fix the bug in Windows itself.
