Skinless Tomcat
Whenever I attempt to select download location on a torrent it comes up with an error message saying "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission" and yet I'm the administrator.I also get the "error: access denied" status whenever I try to download a torrent. Switeck
Run uTorrent in admin mode?Make sure windows permissions allow uTorrent to save wherever you tell it.
Firon
Did you mess with the paths? You can't write to Program Files in a non-admin application. Don't alter torrent storage to that or try to save downloads there.
g12345567
Worked it out. I tried setting the security setting for the whole drive, but the setting were not being transferred to all the folders and sub paths even though I had ticked populate subpaths. I ended up having to change the secrity settings for each folder and after that It all worked.
