jones
For example, try torrents from http://bitreactor.to/. I cant get more than 20 kb download with an 2000/192 kbs connection. But do I download from a a link of mininova.org I allways get far beyond 50 kbs and after a while round about 100 kbs download speed. And third mysterium is, when I download german torrents, my router resetts itself round about every 30 min. This never happens when I download from mininova.
Ultima
"Posting about any illegal sharing of copyrighted content is strictly FORBIDDEN." =T (that link should be removed). The slow speeds probably have to do with the torrent itself (location, peers, seeds, etc), and not necessarily µTorrent. As for the router thing... that I have no clue about =T
bleh
I'm guessing that the router and the download location isn't related to eachother, as for certain torrents working better based on country.. well.. du-uh seriously, if I were to hop on a torrent in australia... I'd get *very* low speeds since most of the people on that torrent were coming from australia.... catch my drift? So, the moral of the post is: download close to home. (which in your case I'd guess was either europe or america)
jones
Wrong moral. Im from germany. If I download german torrents it take ages. American torrents are pretty fast.
wechselbalg
it is because most of the german users have the crippled t-dsl with only 128 kb/s upstream. it will probably get better over time when new faster connection will be the standard in germany. at the present there is not much you can do.
