deadlyshadow
Hello AllI want to know in which situation DHT & PEX have negative influence on downloading speed and in which have positive influence.thank you allregards
Ultima
If your router can't handle loads of UDP packets, DHT and PEX will kill the router. Otherwise, these services also include some overhead that can eat into payload bandwidth slightly (but generally not in any significant amount).Edit: Right. Brain fart. DreadWingKnight
PEX uses existing connections, not UDP traffic.

Ultima
Well, if you are still able to browse/use the Internet without any problems while DHT is enabled, then chances are decent that your router can handle it.
