problem to create the folder

Hi guys, I have a problem when I use bittorrent. Normally, when you start downloading a file from a page, bittorrent creates a folder in the specific location that you have selected in your computer. But when I click on the file to start the download, it asks for confirmation but the download doesn't start, even when there are plenty of seeds. I gave right click on the file in bittorrent and select the option "open containing folder", but the system replies "the route doesn't exist", in other words, bittorrent doesn't create the folder for the file on my computer. Can you help me please, I really need to download some important files. Thank you
