NeapolitanSixth
Hey, all,After scouring the help file for a solution, I've decided to seek help from the forums. I'm not a very experienced Torrenter, so maybe the solution is right in front of me. Any guidance you can give would be appreciated.I'm Torrenting MP3 and WAV files (OCReMix), and am having no trouble actually downloading the files. However, whenever I add Torrents to my Media Library (Windows Media Player 11.0.6002.18111), uTorrent displays an error on the Torrents I've added:[Error: The system cannot find the file specified.]The only Torrent I've added to my library at this point is the highlighted one, which is complete; all of the files are there, and they work. All of the other Torrents on the list are complete, as well. If I add other Torrents to my library, after a few minutes, they display the same error. It might be worth noting that most of these Torrents come in multiple formats (MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc.), but I only ever opted to download them in one format (MP3 or WAV, depending on which was available). I don't know if that would cause the problem; everything else that I haven't added to my library seems to be seeding just fine.I found it odd that uTorrent would get errors after adding files to my library; does anybody have any insight? Please and thanks!PS: My setup:AntiVirus: AVG Free 9.0.814ISP: Shaw Cablesystems
Firon
Windows Media Player will retag your files and screw with it. You need to disable that 'feature'
NeapolitanSixth
I seem to have found the checkbox in WMP that you talked about:"Rename music files using rip music settings"Been letting it run for the last 20 minutes with no problems. If the problem recurs, I'll come back, but it's looking good to this point. Thanks a bunch! :-D
