Kyrgz
I am running uTorrent v. 2.0 build 18488 on Windows Vista Home Premium SP2. Recently I changed my firewall settings (Comodo Internet Security 3.14) to properly route a port to uTorrent. When I test my port in uTorrent itself, it says that the port is open complete with the green symbol. But when I test the same port at http://www.utorrent.com/testport?port=XXXXX, it says that the port is not open. Which one is correct?
moogly
Not sure if that will solve your issue but you can try (similar problem):http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=467162#p467162
Kyrgz
I tried all the suggestions in that link but it's still giving me the same problem. What I don't understand is when I check my router settings (it's a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54) all the firewall settings are disabled so one would think that it wouldn't be blocking any of the ports. moogly
Anyway you have to follow the internal port test to µT.And about the exceptions about uT in Comodo?(see http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=7862 chapter Comodo)
Kyrgz
I changed my firewall settings to those suggested in your link. They seem to work fine, but every now and then uT temporarily goes yellow for a few seconds, then back to green again. Also my upload speeds are a lot slower than before.
