non conectable

when I d/l torrents my service is green and all is well but as soon as it is finished the yellow warning appears for a while then it goes red and my torrents just sit there, I can see both seeds and peers both in brackets and out of them. I have looked into this forum and have disabled the windows security but this does not cure it, I've even downgraded utorrent because I thought this might be the problem. I have even tried rebooting my router but no avail, and the icing Portforward.com tells me my port is forwarded and I am connectable but the symbol remains red and there are no connections. any advice thank you.
