jqrd
I have one of the new 15" MacBooks just released with auto graphics switching, and noticed that launching µTorrent causes the discrete graphics card to be activated. This is not a very serious issue to me, since most of the time I'm using µTorrent, the mac is on AC power anyway... but I think it's something that could be avoided, µTorrent doesn't seem to justify the use of discrete graphics...jqrd
Firon
A lot of applications trigger this, because of the stupid way Apple implemented the graphics switching. Anything that uses CoreImage will trigger it.http://www.engadget.com/2010/04/21/macbook-pros-with-nvidia-geforce-gt-330m-silicon-making-question/
NoOneButMe
µTorrent doesn't use CI. Or any of the frameworks that Gizmodo lists. It should be looked into.
L0u1s
It would be awesome if this was fixed!
Firon
We're looking into what we can do, but ultimately this is Apple's problem.
