rocketgranny Posted May 5, 2010 Report Share Posted May 5, 2010 It would be very helpful, especially for newbies like myself, to have 1-button that simply says APPLY DEFAULTS. The default settings should be of a conservative slant: (1) I do not need to be a speed demon, uploading or downloading, (2) I want to keep out of my ISP's radar screen.(3) I want to support the torrent community and seed.What settings will reconcile all 3 requirements? I've read about many fixes on the forum, on how to fix this or optimize that. I'm not interested in "optimimum" anything at this time. I just want things to work. NoOneButMe Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 The default settings can be recreated by deleting settings.dat in ~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent.Most of the time, things "just work" if you open µTorrent and then open a torrent file.
