j!b
Here's my problem, I have several rss feeds for an legitimate internet based show that i'm trying to provide a seed for. Each rss feed's show name is the same but each feed is for a different bitrate and the actual filename in the enclosure is different. uTorrent will download the first automatically with the filter that I setup but will not download the additional feeds; i'm assuming it is because the show names are the same. Can anyone offer a suggestion about how to get around this? I've tried setting up separate filters for each show, using separate folders for the download, using labels none of which have worked. am i just sol on this issue? Firon
If the episode is not parsed, you can't turn on the Smart episode filter (check the Releases tab for a ? in the episode column).
rafi
Funny, since the main effort here was to AVOID multiple DLs of the same episode. I suppose you can call it a "bug" since you CAN see the multiple DLs with the "?" check, but it downloads only one. You may be right - and if you didn't select the smart EP filter and selected "always" it should download all, regardless of them being the same episode. I suspect that this was not really tested . j!b
I wasn't sure where my issue fell bug or not. I do realize that most people would want the opposite to what i'm looking for. I don't have the smart ep filter option checked since they don't use episode numbers in their rss just the topic of the show. each feed uses the same topic. match always is also set. for episode format and date i get "?". could this just be an issue with utorrent not parsing rss v2.0? should i use a separate filter for each rss feed? currently i have one filter because it is only downloading/seeding shows from one particular site. any help would be greatly appreciated. My thought was since they are totally separate rss feeds that it should recognize that fact, also each torrent has a unique signature does it not?
