hi every one.......................

my problem is that i use a utorrent but my download speed is very slow for my conection speed i have a dial up modem (Huawei E156G USB Modem (Data only)) wich have a speed of 2.5 mbit/sec and i can get 230 kBite/sec if i downloaded by direct link but when i use utorrent its average is 30 kBite/sec and some time reach 200-230 but just for few seconds

can anyone help me

by the way my port is not open if anyone can help me with that i will be greatfull

well it's probably your port that's killing your speed. there's an explaination on how to open it in the setup guide of the help file I believe.

Does your ISP throttle/disrupt BitTorrent traffic?

i took a looke utorrent help file and i found this:

Internet connection type: One prominent example of this being the source of the problem are Internet connections that are received wirelessly (though satellite or something similar). Customers of wireless connections are very often not given WAN IP addresses, and so are permanently in a firewalled state. In fact, any kind of connection where you are not in control of the NAT will generally leave you in an unfirewalled state. Such is the case with university-provided connections, where network administrators generally block connections to unauthorized ports.

dose this mean i cant open my port?

I don't know how to configure your modem, if portforward.com didn't work.

A software firewall (in your AV program) could also cause you grief.

If my links didn't help, you didn't read them closely enough.

i have a mcafee firwall and a windows 7 if that can help

i tried to disable the entire firwall but it also didn help

The best way to be certain is to completely uninstall it.
