Hi,

I just wanted to say, THANK YOU to the developer of this exceptional (tiny) piece of software. I've been an azureus user for almost 2 years and have always been happy with their software (because I have 2 gigs of Ram), but I decided to give uTorrent a whirl just for kicks. I'm AMAZED that it does everything that azureus does with only 140KB of programming...Unfreakingbelievable. And such quality as well! I haven't experienced one bug. And it's not just the software...

I'm impressed with the website too and the extensive FAQ. After over a year of wondering what the hell was wrong with my router (a linksys WRT54G), I was finally able to fix it by reading the instructions in the FAQ! I can't express my gratitude enough! And I also learned that it was Google desktop that was screwing up my computer (random shutdowns) instead of some hardware because the FAQ insisted that it was google desktop that was causing errors to occur when downloading occasionally. Azureus never reported those errors...just threw my system into a blackout. I stopped using google desktop and all my random shut downs disappeared! I thought I was gonna have to replace my video card or something. I just saved a couple hundred bucks. THANK YOU.

Anyway, I'm not here to bash or do a comparison with Azureus. Azureus has been a pioneer for bittorrent and I still use it on my ubuntu machine happily...But uTorrent clearly has taken all the pros of the best bittorrent software out there, made it WAY more efficient, and added plenty of support. Even the uTorrent website LOOKS nice...and that's always a nice touch programmers could do well to learn about.

I just wish php programmers were as efficient at the dude that writes uTorrent. We web application developers have alot to learn.

Now...my biggest fear is that some company with lots of money will spot the developer's talent and snap him up for themselves. Microsoft could use some serious help in the efficiency department for starters.

Anyway...thanks again not just for an amazing piece of code, but also for the packaging and support. I haven't been this impressed and happy with a product in years. Keep up the good work!
