swolll
I've been caught a few times by my ISP for using torrents on my home Wifi. That's despite downloading peer block and using the itsHidden VPN.A friend mentioned to me I could keep my torrent downloads concealed if I do all my downloading at a place like Starbucks (free internet). Is this true? Do I have to take precautions (like turn the torrent on only when at Starbucks, or change the settings)?
moogly
The Starbucks wireless network is probably firewalled and disallow surely torrenting.Anyway tt's weird to be caught by using a VPN service.
swolll
Can you recommend a VPN or software I can use at home then? Or, are there any places with free wifi that might not be firewalled?
Switeck
Free wifi is almost certainly giving out LAN ip addresses. It's too expensive to do otherwise!
swolll
Does that mean using Torrents would work at a place like Starbucks?
Firon
It will work, just not very well.
