embittered
I just moved to a new apartment that already has its own wifi. I tested utorrent out to see if it works and I get 0(183) for seeds and 0(233) for peers. I'm assuming I'm behind the router firewall of the apartment, so no one can connect to me. I don't even know where the router is in the apartment complex so I don't know what brand of model it is. All I know is that the ISP provider is Comcast. Is there any way for me to get around this? Any help would be appreciated!
Switeck
ComCast isn't disrupting BitTorrent at this time. At worst, they seem to be throttling the speeds some during peak evening hours when an area is overloaded.1st (slow speed/disrupted internet),2nd (confirm you're only using a small portion of the total shared connection),3rd (workarounds for throttling) links in my signature.
