When looking at the change log i cant se that much bug-fixes only new features and changes..!??I dont like using beta software.. i use a few.. but i try to minimize the amount!so basicly what im saying is, more non beta releases please! boo Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 It's good with many beta releases because ludde can add/change/fix a few things then let people test it then continue to code, because it would cause more bugs if he just coded a whole stable release and then realize that there a loads of bugs. boo Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 well hendrix, the bigger the program becomes more work and time needs to be put down on it.µTorrent has like 40 000 - 50 000 lines of code which mean it takes allot of time to add features and bug test it. BlackLion Posted March 2, 2006 Report Share Posted March 2, 2006 actually in ludde's case beta is not a four-letter word in the sense that the betas are for the most part very nice and the bugfixes come out quickly, he gets great feedback and responds to it quickly so if there is a snag there is a remedy usually like the next day. Im hooked on his betas LOL i mean 431 is really crispy and much better than the 1.4 stable....but im looking forward to 1.5 as well if you are beta-shy just wait a day or two and see if a bugfix release hits for a beta, if not im grabbing it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
