chran Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Hello,uTorrent doesn't seem to respect my setting for upload-speed cap. It's normally at 50, and the upload is around 69-70.I set it at 15 for an experiment, and the upload is at 59-60, for the last hour What to do?
chran Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 Awesome! That worked like a charm. Thanks so much.
jeu Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I have same problem, even after setting Limit local peer bandwidth. My experience:DL limit set to 10, actual will be around 17DL Limit set 1, actual will be around 8Seeding Only sees DL go up to as much as 25.Pausing all torrents still see traffic 10 DL, 4 ULI just recently updated to 2.0.2. Before I was on a 1.xx version and never had this problem.
Switeck Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 jeu, do you have DHT enabled? (It uses another network separate from torrent swarms...which means it causes extra bandwidth usage.)Is Teredo/IPv6 or native IPv6 present and/or active?
jeu Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Switeck, I disabled DHT, no differenceI did not install IPV6/Teredo, just regular TCP/IP under Windows XP.
Switeck Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Try rafi's uTorrent v2.0.X Migration Guide here: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=74820
yamaneko Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 This just worked for me:In Preferences/Bandwidth/Global Rate Limit Options, check-mark the box next to "Apply rate limit to uTP connections"
