TBrewerton Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 Hi there,When creating a torrent file using this version and then trying to upload the file to a private torrent site - the site gives back an error saying something about the file not registering in the dictionary.Upon consulting the site staff they say this error is caused if the torrent name is using an illegal operator eg @ $ - etc none of these symbols were used only a "." which is allowed and has worked when creating files with other torrent progs.Any ideas?
NoOneButMe Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 µTorrent probably picked up the .DS_Store file from the directory. Its largely metadata about how to display the contents of the folder and should probably be ignored. However, I'm not a dev. So, you'll have to wait for them to get around to fixing it.
