Erigion
Got a question about piece priority.I'm assuming if you select certain files in a batch file and give them High Priority those pieces get a higher priority. And if you turn on bt.prio_first_last_piece, µTorrent will try to get the first and last piece of every file first. What happens if bt.always_prio_rare is turned on? Does µTorrent prioritize the rare pieces of the files you've told it to give a high priority? Or does it prioritize the rare pieces in the entire torrent?Edit: 1.4 stable seems to prioritize first/last piece then the pieces in the middle of the torrent by default. What's the default piece priority for 1.4.2 beta?
Ultima
Random by default now, but it's configurable (first and last, and/or rare).
Guest
What about in the Pieces tab? Would it be possible to add a context menu to the right-click on a piece in there to allow the user to set the priority of incomplete pieces? I would like to set the pieces that are almost done to a higher priority than the ones that only have a couple of blocks completed. That way the ones that are close can be forced to finish quicker so as to avoid major loss if something happens and the incomplete piece-list is lost eg due to a recheck. (In other words, it's not a big deal if 30 pieces that only had 16-64KB downloaded have to be started over again, but it's pretty bad if 20 pieces that had 1-1.5MB downloaded have to be started over.)
